With a stream of new releases in the pipeline for August and September, we have decided to move our Web store to Payloadz. Our Web developer has been very pleased as a customer of other sites using Payloadz, and their secure servers and payment service through PayPal (including credit card payment) has garnered high praise from many e-retailers. Payloadz provides a download link for your purchases via e-mail, usually instantly, and their servers provide reliably fast downloads.

And that is why we decided to do what we do: make terrific music available by direct download. |

meyeFi Media welcomes one of the most innovative drummers on today's scene, Bruce Ditmas, to the mEyeFi team.
With nearly five decades experience as a jazz, pop, rock, and avant-garde drummer, Bruce has worked with such musical and entertainment luminaries as Judy Garland, Gil Evans, Barbra Streisand, Shecky Green, Joan LaBarbara, Bernardo Bertolucci, and Paul Bley.
mEyeFi Media will be reissuing two of Bruce's most sought-after recordings from the late 1970s, "Yellow" and "Aeray Dust", in the coming months. These collaborations with avant-garde vocal innovator Joan LaBarbara and trumpet monster Enrico Rava had a strong influence on New York's "downtown" scene and capture three creative artists smashing technical and technological barriers. |

The mEyeFi store is powered by a very cool little Flash app called XMLmp3Store. With a larger number of music fans snagging up the iPad, Apple's runaway portable sensation, we are kicking the tires and test-running a Flash-alternative store – but we also wanted to tip you off to a very cool little iPad browser app that allows Flash content to work on your iPad. It's called Skyfire, and you can check it out at the Apple Store. |
